Set up your biometric login

Logging in just got easier and safer. With biometric login enabled on your device, logging into your online banking is as simple as a scan and you're in.

Update your device settings

To use this feature in our mobile banking app, you must enable biometric login in your device settings. If the biometrics stored on your device change, we automatically disable your biometric login in the mobile app.

Common questions

I've just downloaded the mobile app, how do I enable my biometric login?

  1. Open the mobile app.
  2. Enter your access number and password.
  3. Answer your KeepSafe question.
  4. Enter the verification code you've received via SMS on your mobile.
  5. Toggle biometrics on (Touch ID and Face ID for iOS or fingerprint for Android).
  6. Select a 4-digit security code.
  7. Re-enter it to confirm.
  8. Success! You will land on your accounts screen after setting up your security code.

I skipped setting up my biometric login during my initial app setup, how do I set it up now?

  1. Log in to the mobile app.
  2. Tap 'More' at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select 'Settings'.
  4. Tap 'Security'.
  5. For iOS, select 'Log in with Face ID' or 'Log in with Touch ID' or for Android, select 'Log in with fingerprint'.
  6. Answer your KeepSafe question.
  7. Turn the toggle on for 'Log in with Face ID' or 'Log in with Touch ID' or 'Log in with fingerprint'.
  8. Tap 'Accept and continue'.
  9. Complete the biometric scan in the format you've enabled (Touch ID and Face ID for iOS or fingerprint for Android).
  10. That's it! You've enabled biometric login on your device.
