Replace your card within the mobile app
- Log in to the mobile app.
- Tap 'Cards' at the bottom of your screen.
- Choose the card you want to replace.
- Tap 'Replace this card'.
- Select the reason for replacement.
- Review what happens next and tap 'Next'.
- Review your card details and tap 'Next'.
- Once you confirm your details are correct including your postal address, select 'Confirm order'.
Your old card will be cancelled and your replacement card will be mailed out to you and should arrive within 10 business days (postal times may vary). If you have Apple Pay or Google Payâ„¢ it'll continue to work.
If you need to get help in the meantime or don't have the mobile app, please contact us or visit your nearest Kiwibank.

Destroy your old card
Once you've ordered your replacement card it's important to remember to destroy your old card by cutting it in half to help avoid any fraudulent activity linked to the card.

Activate your card
- Activate your replacement card.
- If your replacement card has new card details e.g. the numbers on the front of your card are different, update any regular payments from your card and anywhere you’ve saved your card details to make it easier to pay for things. To help with this, look through recent transactions and statements.
- If you had a gambling block on your old credit card or Visa Debit Card, contact us to request we put the same block on your replacement card.
Is your postal address up to date?
Ensure we send your new card to the correct address by checking that your postal address is up to date.
