How it works

  • Multiple payments

    • Make a new multiple payment or use a template you've already saved in internet banking.
    • Edit previous templates.
    • Choose to show the whole payment as a single line on your statement, or to show each recipient's payment on a separate line.
    • See audit trail information, like who authorised the payment and when, and download a PDF copy for your records.

  • Accounts

    Multiple payments and batch uploads can be made from Business Edge and Business Performer accounts.

  • Batch uploads

    Export files from your accounting software and:

    • Upload a batch payment file from your accounting software into internet banking for business.
    • The system will check the file and show you a summary to review.
    • See audit trail information, like who authorised the payment and when, and download a PDF copy for your records.

  • Approvals

    Data entry users can create bulk payments in internet banking for business, but they won't be processed until they've been approved by the account owner (or owners if the account is two-to-sign).

  • Timing

    For both multiple and batch uploads:

    • Choose a payment date, and whether you'd like us to send the payment immediately or later in the day.
    • Payments marked 'Send now' will be sent hourly between 9am and 11:30pm every day.
    • Payments marked 'Send after 6pm' will be processed around 6pm on the due date. All payments received after 6pm will be sent hourly until 11:30pm.

  • Getting set up

    Once you're a registered business banking customer, we can set up multiple payments or batch uploads over the phone. Call our business banking team on 0800 601 601. Fees will apply.
