    If you’re considering switching, you’ll want to understand how we can meet your business banking needs. In this initial conversation with a business banking specialist, we’ll get to know how your business operates and discuss how our products and services can help you achieve your goals.

    Set up a Kiwibank profile

    Once you’ve decided to switch, the next step is to set up your account profile. A business banking specialist will walk you through the business verification process – see our handy list of what you'll need to provide.

    Identification checks can be done quickly and easily using ID checker on your smartphone, or by visiting one of our branches.

    Select your accounts & services

    Next, we’ll discuss and provide recommendations for the specific Kiwibank accounts and services you’ll open to best run your business. Once these are agreed, we’ll run through the legally required disclosures and compliance steps. For most businesses, steps one to three will take around 40 minutes if completed in one sitting.

    Set up online banking
