    Open the Kiwibank Mobile App. Our mobile app is free to download on Google Play.

    Tap on ‘Cards’ at the bottom of the screen.

    Choose a card you'd like to add to Google Pay.

    Tap 'Add to Google Pay' on the card you have chosen.

    Follow the prompts

    Follow the prompts to complete the process. Repeat steps 2-5 for each card you'd like to add.

    You're all set up

    Your card is now all set up for Google Pay, now you can use it in-store, in apps and online.

How it works

Pay with your Android device everywhere contactless payments are accepted.

  • Android device

    You can use Google Pay on devices that are Android 7.0 or higher. Google Pay is also available on some Fitbit and Wear OS devices. See our support page for more details on specific devices.

  • Simply add your card

    Add your Kiwibank Visa Debit or credit card to your Google Wallet in the Kiwibank Mobile App.

  • Contactless payments

    To make your payment, unlock your phone, hold it near the reader, and look for the check mark.

  • Shopping online

    When you're ready to pay, choose Google Pay as your payment method. Then follow the prompts to confirm your order.

  • Other ways to set up

    Open your Google Wallet app or download it on Google Play. Tap 'Add to Wallet' and follow the instructions. Google Wallet, is a secure and private digital wallet that allows you to store and get quick access to your bank cards, tickets, passes, keys, or IDs.
