Kiwibank is offering customers one percent of their new home loan as a cash contribution, up to $10,000. For example, if your new home loan with Kiwibank is $540,000, you may be eligible for a cash contribution of $5,400.
Senior Product Manager for Home Lending at Kiwibank Pip Maxwell said the offer meant a little extra to make life a little easier for first home buyers, customers looking for their next home, or those wanting to switch to the New Zealand-owned bank.
“Having recently launched our Co-own offering to help provide an alternative way to buy a home, this offer is another way we’re supporting home buyers and owners in New Zealand.
“This market-leading cash offer is designed to put money back in the pockets of Kiwi at a time of rising costs.
“At the same we have also launched two new interactive digital home loan tools, first home buyer calculator and repayments and structuring calculator which support customers compare and understand different scenarios,” she said.
The offer is available online, over the phone or by visiting a Kiwibank branch as well as through partnership channels including mortgage advisors and New Zealand Home Loans, who can make the offer to new clients or those wanting to refinance.
The cash contribution offer is available for new Kiwibank home loan applications applied for from 7June 2022 to 28 June 2022 and is conditional on meeting certain conditions.
