Kiwibank Business Banking: Gold sponsor of interest.co.nz’s new business section

07/06/2012

Kiwibank Business Banking is to be the gold sponsor of the new business section on interest.co.nz.

Mark Stephen, Group Manager Business Markets at Kiwibank said: “The partnership with interest.co.nz is a great place for us to be part of the conversation with New Zealand businesses, to provide them with meaningful assistance to help them run and grow their business successfully”.

“Interest.co.nz is a perfect fit for Kiwibank, as we’re both focussed on helping Kiwi business owners make more informed decisions in the running of their business. This new section will include how-to guides on topics including employing staff, marketing tips, analysis, tax returns and much more, with content changing daily”.

Mr Stephen said “It’ll also be useful for entrepreneurs and anyone else with an aspiration to own and operate their own business to debate current business issues, share their view and stories.

“We’re hoping to share and deliver real-life customer stories of how SME business owners cope with the day to day challenges they face - not just financial, whether it’s diversifying into a new market, access to capital, taxation, finding skilled employees, venturing into importing/exporting or just maintaining a constant revenue stream in a constantly changing market place”.

Kiwibank has been working with businesses for the last six years, now serving more than 30,000 SME’s, with local managers situated around the country.

“We’re committed to continuing to grow the number of SME’s we work with, and being a new and growing Kiwi business ourselves we understand the assistance that Kiwi businesses require from their bank.

“We offer our business banking customers business transactional accounts with no monthly account fees, free internet banking access, in addition to a wide range of other accounts and services.

“We’d also like to congratulate Deloitte, the silver sponsors, who we’ll be working with closely with over the next year also. If you’ve got a great business story to tell or an issue that needs addressing, email bernard.hickey@interest.co.nz“. Mr Stephen said.
