Diversity, equity & inclusion recruitment guidelines
Our diversity, equity and inclusion recruitment guidelines ensure that we're being as inclusive as possible when looking for new people to join our team so we can attract the most diverse candidate group possible. Kiwibank recruitment ensures our people reflect our customers and communities across Aotearoa.
We aim to have a diverse interview short list for all of our roles, ensuring we don’t compromise on the requirements and needs of the role and always taking into account the benefits of a candidate's lived experience with a diverse interview panel to ensure we have diversity front of mind in our decision making.
I really feel that this is a place to belong. I feel really accepted and supported. It started during my interview process, and carried through to when I joined, through my first week and right through to today – the environment around me shouts so loudly: “you belong, you are supported, you are accepted".Ajay Chhibber, Digital and Technology Senior Product Lead & Pride Network Member

The Kiwibank Wardrobe
To better reflect modern Aotearoa, we've collaborated with five leading local designers Barkers, Jen Sievers, Kiri Nathan, Little Yellow Bird and Standard Issue, to reimagine the workplace wardrobe. We've launched the 46-piece collection which considers choice, accessibility, gender neutrality, and cultural and religious preferences to encourage our people to express their individuality.
